Veterinarians
Verona Chaffin, DVM (owner)
Dr. Chaffin graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She has worked with large animals and small animals throughout the years. She opened Allcare Animal Hospital in 1991, and has been practicing small animal medicine there ever since. At home, she has 3 horses (Jet, Nelson, and Pye), 3 cats (Dr. Bombay, Godiva, and Blaze), and a flock of guinea hens. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses, flying as a private pilot, and embroidering.
Leisa Snyder, DVM
Dr. Snyder graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She began working at Allcare Animal Hospital in 2000, and has been with us ever since. At home, she has 1 cat (Vader). In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and two sons, and traveling with family.
Michelle Gast, DVM
Michelle graduated from Kansas State university in 2002. Became an Allcare veterinarian right after graduation.
Practice Manager
Jennifer M
Jennifer joined the Allcare Team in January 2020, however has worked in veterinary medicine for 20 years. Jennifer is always working behind the scenes however you will from time to time find her helping out up front or on the floor with the doctors in the exam rooms. She wears many hats and has strived to provide the clients at Allcare Animal Hospital with the best team available to care for them and their pets. At home she has 4 Boxers- Eris, Onyx, Bane and Neytiri- It just may be her favorite breed. She has been known to run out of her office if a boxer is in the building to go snuggle with them.
Veterinary Technicians/Assistants
Carrie M
Carrie has been a veterinary technician since 2000. She started working at Allcare Animal Hospital back in 2003, and has been with us ever since. Carrie has the biggest heart and wants nothing but the best for all her patients. She is an amazing part of our team and we wouldn’t know what to do without her, nor would our clients and patients. She is our in clinic “Cat Whisper” At home, she has 2 dogs (Oona, Winchester) and 1 cat Bill Snyder. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dogs, and traveling with her husband and two sons.
Amber C
Amber joined the Allcare Team in January 2021, however has many years of experience in the veterinary field. Amber is one of the many faces you will meet during your visit that takes care of our patients. She is an amazing technician that strives to provide the best care to all the patients she is involved with. She is always in a great mood and reminds us daily to have a little fun too. At home she has her amazing best friend, a Jack Russel Terrier name Lillian. However, the staff continues to remind her, Lillian needs a new little friend. We will see what the future holds for them.
Amanda V
Amanda joined the Allcare team in July 2021. She remains a vital part of our family, though she is currently away studying to become a veterinarian. Amanda is an incredibly caring technician, and we know she will be a wonderful veterinarian. We wish her the very best in her studies and look forward to having her help our clients and patients during her breaks from school.
Chloe
Chloe joined Allcare Animal Hospital in 2026, she may be a new face around here but she is not new to veterinary medicine. Chloe came to us with a background in veterinary technician experience and it shows in her care of our patients. You will find her hard at work in the exam rooms side by side with her team and our amazing Doctors. She fits in great with everyone here and the patients love her.
Richard M
Richard joined Allcare Animal Hospital in 2025. He came to use with years of experience in the veterinary field. He is currently working in the back helping our technicians and doctors daily, although you may have seen him at the front desk or spoken to him on the phone as he helps out where is needed.

Heather
Heather has been working in the veterinary medicine field since 2012. She began working at Allcare Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 2016. At home, she has 8 dogs (Chevy, Cow Cow, Gizmo, Chubbett, Nugget, Cooper, Gatlin, and Jax), and 1 cat (Sweetheart). In her free time, she enjoys gardening, roller skating, and spending time with her family.
Annie E
Annie joined the Allcare Team in September 2021. Annie fit in from day one with our team. She is a bright, thoughtful and caring addition that strives to provide the best customer experience possible. Annie is always wanting to learn more and has shown interest in continuing in the veterinary field with a possible future as a technician. Will she become our next to move to the back, we look forward to seeing what her future holds in place for her. She is always eager to help anyone in need and always with a bright smile. At home she has a number of furry friends and just like all team members in the veterinary field, we are sure her numbers will climb.
Trinity
Trinity joined Allcare Animal Hospital in 2026 and is newer to veterinary medicine but not animal care. Trinity came to us with years of experience caring for dogs and cats in a daycare/boarding center, and although she was amazing in that role she strives to continue learning. At home she has 3 dogs of her own, one being a new puppy named Rum. We look forward to welcoming her to Allcare Animal Hospital and can’t wait for our clients and patients to get to know her.
Patient Care Assistants
Shawna D
Shawna joined the Allcare Team in August 2021. Shawna spends her time caring for our patients and making sure their stays with us are top notch. She is very caring and spends the time with the patients that they each individually need. She is amazing with all our patients and is always willing to help anyone on her team. Shawna is very dedicated and we couldn’t run without her. At home she has 2 kitties, Jasper and Jasmine, we highly believe a dog friend needs to be in her future, She’s amazing with them.
Adrianna B
Adrianna joined Allcare Animal Hospital in November 2023, although this was her first time working in the veterinary field she has shown so much growth and is great with all our patients. She can be found hard at work in the clinic taking amazing care of our boarders. Her patience and dependability will take her a long way, and we hope she continues in the veterinary field for years to come.
Maddie
Maddie joined Allcare Animal Hospital in 2025 as one of our Pet Care Assistants. She has been an amazing team member that the patients love. She is always hard at work making sure all our patients are well taken care of. She is very dedicated to her position and takes care of the patients like they are her own.

Kelly joined Allcare Animal Hospital in October 2023 with years of grooming experience. She has been an amazing asset to our clinic and the team as well as clients just adore her. She strives to have every pet leaving from an appointment with her looking their best, she loves building relationships with the patients and the owners. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son as well as their many pets, If you haven’t met Kelly yet come by and we are sure you will love her too.
